Dr. John Taggart Clark is Associate Professor of linguistics in the Department of English at California State University, Sacramento. There, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in general linguistics, English syntax, sociolinguistics, and English phonology, with a focus on the study of spoken language and the ways that spoken language may best be promoted in the second/foreign language classroom.
