We previously met 6-7 times a year to organize and plan professional development workshops. In the past, the meetings were held on Friday evenings from 5:30 pm-7:00 pm in Sacramento. Appetizers and beverages were provided during the meetings.
Volunteers are invited to the planning meetings. Please RSVP if you plan to attend so that we can make sure we have enough space and food. You do not need to be a member to attend a meeting. Officers are expected to attend the planning meetings.
Call for Volunteers
Would you like to help plan and host CATESOL events in the greater Sacramento area, gain conference and event planning experience, enhance your resume or curriculum vitae, add to your RTP (Retention-Tenure-Promotion) file, and interact and network with your colleagues on a closer level?
If so, become a volunteer! Volunteers help plan, promote and implement our two professional development workshops each year. You do not need to be a member to be a volunteer. Please contact us if you would like to be added to our "Volunteer List."
